1. TYPE APPROVAL
Our motorhome towbars have European type approval.
2. UNIVERSAL MOUNTING
The mounting plates are universal and fit the AL-KO motorhome chassis or a strong enough chassis extension.
3. GOOSENECK BALL
The towbar comes standard with a fixed gooseneck towball. An extended, raised and detachable ball is optionally available.
4. SPECIFIC REINFORCEMENT KITS
Specific reinforcement kits and chassis extensions are available for most vehicles.
5. VEHICLE-SPECIFIC WIRING KIT
A vehicle-specific 13-pin wiring kit is available for most vehicles.
MOTORHOME TOWBAR: WIDTH 1315MM
Are you short of space in your motorhome? Are you at your maximum payload? Or would you like to transport a boat, motorbike or something else behind your motorhome? Then a motorhome towbar is the solution.
Our motorhome towbars have a towing capacity of 2,000 kg and a maximum nose weight of 100 kg. A solid choice, also according to the Dutch ANWB (similar to the AA (read what KampeerKampioen writes about our motorhome towbars). And thanks to their universal mounting, they are suitable for almost any motorhome type.
Fixed width
This towbar has a fixed width of 1315mm. This makes it suitable for Fiat Ducato chassis with Al-Ko chassis extensions until 2017 among others.
Towing capacity, towing weight and drawbar load
The towbar's towing capacity is 13.08 kN. This equates to around 2,000 kg of towing weight. Read more about towing weights in this blog article.
The maximum nose weight is 100 kg. This also allows you to fit a bike carrier with bicycles on the towbar just fine. But beware: do you want to use the towbar mainly to transport bicycles? Then we advise you to choose a fixed bike carrier on the chassis. Even sturdier and safer.
Chassis extensions and reinforcement kit
In many cases, mounting a towbar requires or desires a chassis extension and additional reinforcement. We have vehicle-specific solutions for most European motorhome types. Your Memo dealer will be happy to advise you on this.
