GET ADVICEIf you place a standard bike carrier on a standard towbar, you can no longer reach the rear doors. A recognizable problem for many people with a campervan. Yet there is a super simple way to solve this: the Van-Swing pivoting module.
The Van-Swing has a smart hinge system with which you can easily turn the bike carrier away. This means that the luggage compartment of your bus is always easily accessible. The Van-Swing is suitable for almost every standard bike carrier for the towbar. It can carry a total of 60 kg, in most cases sufficient for your bike carrier and two bikes.
Thanks to an ingenious pivoting construction, you can swing the Van-Swing away from the rear doors, even if there are bikes on it. This means you always have easy access to the rear doors and luggage space of your campervan.
With the locking pin you can lock the carrier when closed.
The Van-Swing is mounted on the existing towbar with flange ball and fits directly on most brands of towbars. This construction offers an easy solution for your campervan and gives the Van-Swing more load capacity. The Van-Swing may not fit (directly) on your towbar, for some variants we have solutions available. Contact your dealer for the right solution.
The payload of the Van-Swing is 60 kg. Note: this includes a bike carrier. So, for example, does your bike carrier weigh 15 kg? In that case, the bikes that you take with you may still weigh a maximum of 45 kg.
You can choose a hinge on the left or right side. Advantage of the hinge on the left: comfort. You do not have to walk around the pivot bar to get to the back doors. Advantage of the hinge on the right: safety, the turning bar turns towards the 'pavement side' and not towards the road.
The Van-Swing has a European type approval. You are guaranteed to be safe on the road.
Pay attention: the Van-Swing is not suitable for towing trailer loads.
