VAN-STAR E-CROSS: ESPECIALLY FOR VAN CONVERSIONS

Looking for a bike carrier for your campervan? Then the Van-Star E-Cross is literally a strong choice. This bike carrier is mounted on the chassis of your campervan. Super sturdy. The Van-Star E-Cross can carry up to 75 kg, enough for 2 E-bikes.

Thanks to a smart hinge system, you can also turn the bike carrier away. This keeps the rear doors of your campervan easily accessible.

Pivoting

Thanks to an ingenious pivoting construction, you can swing the Van-Star away from the rear doors, even if there are bikes on it. This means you always have easy access to the rear doors and luggage space of your campervan.

Locking pin and closer lip

You use the locking pin to lock the carrier when closed. In 'open' position, the hinge is automatically blocked by a door closer. This prevents unexpected closure due to, for example, a strong wind or sloping ground.

The Van-Star E-Cross is ideal for transporting E-bikes and mountain bikes with thicker tires. This model has a tough look due to its black plastic light strip and premium bicycle gutters. Mounting on the chassis

The Van-Star is mounted directly on the chassis of the campervan. You can contact a Memo dealer in your area for this. Due to this mounting method, the Van-Star has more carrying capacity than carriers that are mounted on the hinges of the rear door, and it is more stable than a traditional bike carrier on the tow bar.

E-bikes at knee height

Because of the mounting on the chassis, your e-bikes are at knee height. So lifting high is no longer necessary.

Hinge left or right

You can choose a hinge on the left or right side. Advantage of the hinge on the left: comfort. You do not have to walk around the pivot bar to get to the back doors. Advantage of the hinge on the right: safety, the turning bar turns towards the 'pavement side' and not towards the road.

Fasteners

Cycling shoes and bicycle arms for transporting bikes or E-bikes are included as standard. For safety, we recommend that you always use a lashing strap. The Memo dealer will be happy to advise you on suitable fasteners for your type of E-bike.

European type approval

The Van-Star E-Cross has a European type approval. You are guaranteed to be safe on the road.
