1. STEEL SUPPORT ARMS
The supporting structure is made of powder-coated steel. Strong and stable.
2. LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM PARTS
The rails, bracket, uprights and light strip are made of aluminum. As a result, its own weight is only 25 kg.
3. BIKE SHOES
With tension straps to securely attach the wheels to the bike rail.
4. ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT
Because the Sky-Star can be adjusted in height, no lighting and cabling is required.
5. EASILY FOLDABLE
When folded up, the carrier is about 40 centimeters shorter. Handy for storage.
SKY-STAR: HIGH AND MIGHTY
Most bike carriers are mounted on the rear wall of a motorhome. But e-bikes are actually too heavy for such a construction. The Sky-Star offers the solution to this problem.
This folding bike carrier is mounted directly on the chassis, which provides extra stability. With the Sky-Star you can transport two electric bikes (up to 75 kg). In addition, the carrying platform is height adjustable. As a result, you can have it mounted in such a way that you do not need a light strip and cabling.
Height adjustable so that lighting and license plate remain visible
A carrier on the chassis is often more expensive than an average carrier on the rear wall. This is partly due to the light strip and cable set you need for this. However, the height of the Sky-Star is adjustable. So if you have it mounted in such a way that the lighting and the registration number of the motorhome are visible, you do not have to purchase a light strip and cable set.
Mounting on chassis
The Sky-Star can be mounted directly on the AL-KO motorhome chassis or a chassis extension. You can contact a Memo dealer in your area for this. The bike carrier is much more stable on the chassis than on the rear wall or on a towbar.
Fasteners
Cycling shoes and bicycle arms for transporting bikes or e-bikes are included as standard. For safety, we recommend that you always use a lashing strap. The Memo dealer will be happy to advise you on suitable fasteners for your type of e-bike.
European type approval
The Sky-Star has a European type approval. You are guaranteed to be safe on the road.
